I seem to recall that Lydia Leong was trying to get some kind of
initiative off the ground, years ago when she was at DIGEX, with
respect to "serious" uses of MUD technology.  While I don't think
she'd mind talking about it, she's a Principal Analyst for the
Gartner Group these days, so you might need more than a penny for
her thoughts.  Nevertheless, her contact info is relatively easy to
track down on Google, if you wish to chat with her about it.
