In my "ideal" game, it is very easy for Activision (or whoever
currently holds the mechwarrior license) to add a Mechwarrior sub-game
to my game, possibly in some sort of alternate dimension, or possibly
in the game world itself (at which point they probably either need to
not call it Mechwarrior or they need to do some serious background
work in the MW universe), or even the thought that excites me the
most, some sort of game within the game like somebody mentioned
earlier. Logging into a multiplayer online world, going home to the
computer on the desk, or to a public arcade or something, and logging
into an in-game version of Mechwarrior, where you play the virtual
game with friends who you met in "RL" in the "virtual" world.

Gads. Sometimes I think I really needed to be born 20 or 30 years
later, when all of this really cool technology in my head probably
really exists. Of course, then there's always the danger that I'd
still be thinking ahead to the future. In the future. Time to shut
up now before I send my brain into an infinite while loop...
