Web banner advertising crashed and burned because the expectations
were too high. It's not like it doesn't work. It just doesn't justify
the prices people were previously paying.

Personally, I like advertising in games. I would much rather have to
drive over to Pizza Hut in Crazy Taxi than drive over to some
fictional pizza store.
