I don't think everyone makes MUDs in order to gain as many users as
possible. Likewise, McDonald's feeds far more people than the largest
quality restaurant, and yet the largest quality restaurant would cost a
HECK of a lot more to build and operate than a McDonald's franchise. Yet,
given the choice (and the money to do either of course), most people who
are into food would much rather own the quality restaurant.
