I find nothing to disagree with in what Jon lists. His reasoning is
sound, by my books.

It is my intent to provide modules for:

    networking
    telnet
    VM
    compiler
    + disassembler, byte-stream I/O for MUD-procs, alternate interpreter

However, I doubt that I'll be the first to get many of those into a
working order. I expect others will get there before me. I'm working
on telnet stuff now, so that's what I'll most likely be able to
contribute in the short-term.
