Sorry, I forgot to answer this question - with Linux, probably no - I
have 64M computer at home, have X11, up to five open Netscape windows,
HTTP proxy (squid), and the full set of UNIX daemons
(sendmail,mountd,nfsd,sshd,...) running with zero swap (swap size is
128M, it just doesn't use it at all).
