I've hung a linux kernel with a user process.  Granted it was 1.2.13 or
some ancient kernel revision, but I was able to do it by accidently
creating an ultimately infinite recursion loop (oops).  Basically I had a
command trapping proc generating a command that was caught by itself
(repeat).

Well ya see, what it is is that it's slower all the way around, so it has
fewer crashes per time unit than 95.  :P
