Historically a.m.programming has sourced a couple very lively threads on MUD
design.  More recently r.g.m.misc and r.g.m.diku have been the hotbeds ("Why
DIKU???" he asks himself in vain).

Ahh, I think it was about time for a little socialising.  Its useful sometimes
to get a bit of social detail about posters.

Agreed.  Ditto for MUD Evolution, Skill based Systems, Rethinking Rooms, etc.
